Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Specialist to join the Smithfield Maritimes Project Management Office in Smithfield, PA .Join our dedicated and highly-motivated team focused on developing and delivering cutting edge capabilities to our customers. As the selected individual, you will be leading projects comprised of production managers, engineers, and other functional teammates and interacting with our customers and internal leadership.A successful candidate will be highly experienced in managing suppliers, working with stakeholders, executing programs and possesses a strong production background. This position will focus on guiding functional team resources to execute projects for internal and external customers producing harnesses, electronic boxes, racks, systems, spares and repairs.Position Responsibilities:

Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards

Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals

Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.

Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules.

Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry

Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years’ experience in program or project management

5+ years’ experience in Earned Value Management

5+ years’ of leadership or management experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

Experience in leading project or program proposals

Experience driving projects and processes to successful completion

Knowledge of and experience with Program Management Best Practices

Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Strong collaborative leadership and organizational skills to deliver results through a team with proven ability to influence with or without authority

Proven ability to bring key stakeholders together to rapidly and collaboratively achieve consensus on priorities and path forward to work tasks and projects

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
